Žilina’s first shopping center Atrium Dubeň will this year expand by almost a third. Extension takes part of the parking lot, which belongs to the complex. However there will not be less parking spaces as they will be replaced two-storey parking and roof parking area. Plan of the enhanced center is published on Enviroportal.
Even greater expansion of the shopping center was planned in 2008. After entrance of competitors to the market, Max, Aupark or Mirage, Atrium has abandoned the extension project.
Now more than four thousand square meters of operations will be added to the current sales area of over 15 thousand square meters with 74 stores and hypermarket. Only 11 parking spaces will be added as the extension takes 452 spaces but creates 463 parking spaces. Together there will be 954 parking spaces in the center.…more
